| Our company has been providing crewing services for over ten
years now. We are capable of placing qualified officers and rank-and-file specialists on
the majority of vessel types. Seamen of NSC, Arkhangelsk currently work on more
than 70 vessels of various companies throughout the world, receiving only excellent
references. Thanks to close cooperation with the State Marine Academy in St. Petersburg
and the Arkhangelsk Marine College, we are able to fill our staffing requirements with
highly qualified young specialists.
Our seamen possess all the necessary documents for working on vessels in accordance
with the requirements of STCW-78/95.
The modern-day situation is such that the knowledge of the English language has become
an essential requirement for seamen. With this in mind, the NSC has been organizing
courses in English since as early as 1978. Since then, an enormous amount of experience
has been acquired, permitting effective instruction at today’s high standards. Nine
course instructors teach seamen, rank-and-file personnel and commanding officers alike all
the relevant specialties, from marine skills to conversational English. This enables our
seamen to work not only in Russian crews, but also in foreign crews. The NSC provides all
the technical equipment necessary for instruction, including computer classrooms where
participants have the opportunity to study language at their own speed, combining this
with group study. Comfortable classrooms and the availability of contemporary English
textbooks make for a high-quality and interesting instructional process.
