NSC dredging fleet consists of nine specialized vessels:

  • Enlarge Hopper suction dredgers: Belomorskiy, Severodvinskiy and Onezhskiy, which extract soil from the depth of 25-16 meters with efficiency 1000 cubic meters per hour. Suction dredgers make inwash of a shore territory at a distance up to 400 meters.
  • Marine self-propelled elevator dredger Dvinskiy Zaliv which extracts soil from the depth of 24 meters with efficiency 750 cubic meters per hour. The works of the dredger are carried out with the help of three barges with a capacity of 500 cubic meters each. Dvinskiy Zaliv extracts any type of soil including firm clay and firm rocky soil.

During the past few years the dredging fleet of NSC, Arkhangelsk has completed contracts not only in Russia, but also in the Baltics, other parts of Europe, and the Middle East.
In 2002 the Dvinskiy Zaliv dredging convoy worked on a contract with the American company Nixon Impex LLC, in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
Enlarge In 2003 the Severodvinskiy and Înezhskiy suction dredgers, along with the Dvinskiy Zaliv dredging convoy, widened and deepened the approach canals of the Arkhangelsk port, according to an agreement with the Arkhangelsk Seaport Administration. In 2003 the Belomorskiy suction dredger worked on a contract with Remociones Maritimas S.L. between the Cape Verde Islands and the African mainland. In 2004 the Severodvinskiy suction dredger and the Dvinskiy Zaliv dredging convoy prepared the pilotage of the sea ice-proof platform Prirazlomnoye in Severodvinsk, besides the Severodvinskiy and the Dvinskiy Zaliv worked according to the agreements of the Arkhangelsk Seaport Administration and the JSC Oil Company Rosneft - Arkhangelsknefteprodukt. At the same time the Belomorskiy suction dredger was sluicing beach areas of the sea resorts in Italy. In autumn of 2004 it worked on repair dredging in Tuapse.
